Account Executive, Inside Sales

MicroTek is seeking a qualified professional to fill our current opening for an Inside Sales Representative, in our corporate office located in Downers Grove, IL. Only local candidates will be considered.
- Individually responsible for achieving specified quota.
- May participate as support in team sales as required.
- Qualify and close sales from leads generated via incoming phone calls, emails, marketing campaigns and web inquiries.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with customers.
- Generate and deliver quotes.
- Generate revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products.
- Cold calling is required.
- Must be a ‘closer;’ candidate must have prior experience of going beyond lead generation and cold calling to actually closing deals on the phone. Prefer B2B sales experience.
- Must be highly motivated to succeed with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational ability and time management skills.
- Must take direction well.
- Must be a team player, but also capable of working independently.
- 2+ years of successfully meeting quotas in a corporate sales environment is preferred.
- Inside sales experience and the willingness to perform telemarketing on a daily basis.
- Experience with CRM software and automation tools in a corporate environment preferred.
- Associate’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.
