MicroTek specializes in providing high quality, online, lab solutions. The MicroTek Virtual Lab powered by TrueLab™ a product of Hatsize, provides a complete back-end management system to automatically build, configure, and then tear-down lab environments. Scheduling and other administrative functions are handled through an easy to use web-based portal.
Classes or events will be available as scheduled, configured exactly the way required and ready for the student or instructor when they enter the remote lab.
Our solutions range from purely virtualized environments to those that require physical machines and physical hardware such as storage appliances, virtual tape libraries, switches and other network devices.

Student Features

Students run a connectivity test that verifies their ability to connect, test latency and that Java is installed on their machine. After this quick simple test they access their remote lab machine through a standard Web browser. Their remote lab machine’s desktop will appear in a window (java applet), and from there they are able to access the lab environment to complete their lab exercises. There is no client software required on student workstations.
