  1. Don Slivensky

    Don Slivensky

    Chief Executive Officer

    Don Slivensky is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of MicroTek. His primary focus is strategic direction to promote extended growth and long-term value by leveraging MicroTek's dominant position into expanded services and markets.

    Don founded MicroTek in 1991 and invented a niche industry. His growth plan has taken MicroTek from its initial facility in San Francisco, to the largest network of facilities & services in North America. MicroTek's phenomenal growth is reflected in achieving the prestigious recognition of earning a position on the Inc. 500|5000 [America's Fastest-Growing, Private Companies] a total of six times.

    Prior to starting MicroTek, Don worked for Arthur Young & Company as an auditor and business consultant where he became a Certified Public Accountant. He later served as the controller for a technology company where he was involved in its acquisition by Kodak. Don held the position of divisional controller for Kodak until founding MicroTek.

    Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Northern Michigan University and is a licensed CPA.

  2. Mark Clausen

    Strategic growth is the driver for Mark. Joining the company in 2008, Mark's focus is on using his strengths to grow MicroTek. As President, his vision for MicroTek is to be a company that is focused on execution, yet flexible enough to seize opportunities.

    Prior to joining MicroTek , Mark served as Senior Vice President - Corporate Operations at Acosta Sales and Marketing. Acosta is a global leader in the food sales and marketing agency industry. He also developed the strategic plan that drove significant growth at Acosta's Fresh Food division. Directing a series of key hires, national client appointments and over 20 acquisitions, Mark's division of Acosta became the largest, most recognized and profitable perimeter sales solution in North America.

    Mark has 23 years of business experience in a number of  senior management roles, serving on industry association boards and has developed critical expertise in strategic planning. He was also closely involved with efforts to develop and mentor young leaders through the Acosta Leadership Development Program.

    Mark has a degree in Management and Marketing from DePaul University.

  3. Bill Taylor

    Bill Taylor

    Vice President, Facility Resources

    Bill Taylor's focus at MicroTek is to manage its global network of delivery resources, including all company-owned locations in North America, and a network of global partner sites. Based in San Francisco, Bill joined MicroTek as Vice President in 1997 when MicroTek was expanding to its new Chicago headquarters. He was responsible for the development of the company's sales and marketing strategies, as well as implementation of its national expansion initiatives.

    Prior to MicroTek, Bill was the Vice President of Sales at ComputerLand; which provided computer sales and network service consulting in the Bay Area. Bill also served as Regional Sales Director for commercial accounts at CompUSA. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Chaminade University in Honolulu.

  4. Kevin Hughes

    Vice President, Sales & Marketing

    Kevin Hughes' focus at MicroTek is to lead the company sales growth through a strong customer-focused sales strategy combined with new market identification and development.

    Kevin joined MicroTek as Vice President of Sales in early 2005. He is responsible for the development of sales strategies, growth initiatives, new market penetration, and overall marketing plan.

    Prior to MicroTek, Kevin was the Vice President of Sales at Wan Technologies; which provided network management, integration & support services. Prior to that, he served in various sales management roles at Savvis Communications, Genuity, and Digex; providing managed services to Fortune 500 companies. Kevin has over 20 years of sales & sales management experience.

    Kevin earned a Bachelor in Business Administration from St. Norbert College.

  5. Kim Markovich

    Kim Markovich

    Vice President, Finance & Operations

    As Vice President of Finance and Operations, Kim Markovich manages the financial and business operations of MicroTek including business reporting, accounting operations, finance, IT, customer service and support and software development. Kim also manages the Human Resources function for MicroTek.

    Kim joined MicroTek in 2005, and is responsible for the consideration and recommendation of changes to business process, systems, policies, and purchasing strategies to provide continuous process improvement and cost containment for the business. Kim provides financial and integration support for the future strategies of the MicroTek business.

    Prior to joining MicroTek, Kim was the Vice President of Finance and Operations for Thomson NETg, where she was responsible for the finance and customer services groups, as well as the MIS and distribution departments. Before that, Kim was responsible for supervising the accounting operations of the region's field engineering group at Unisys.

    She has a Master's Degree in Business Administration concentrating in Finance from Benedictine University, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business with an Accounting concentration from Purdue University.
