Downers Grove, IL, October 26, 2006 - MicroTek, the leader in training facilities management and logistics, announces the addition of Dan O’Brien as Vice President of Managed Learning Services to the Executive staff. “As our relationships with many of our clients has evolved we have become an indispensable resource for them and have alleviated many of the burdens that training organizations face on a daily basis”, said Don Slivensky CEO of MicroTek. In January of 2006, MicroTek announced Courseware Management as a new service, and has expanded the network of training facilities over the past two years, both in the United States and around the world.
As Vice President of Managed Services, Dan O’Brien is responsible for the development of managed learning service strategies, growth initiatives, and new market penetration. Dan joined MicroTek in 2006 and brings extensive experience in managing training centers, instructor resources, courseware fulfillment, supply chain services, project management and product management. Dan joins MicroTek with over 23 years of training operations experience. Prior to joining MicroTek, Dan was Vice President of Global Operations and Planning at Global Knowledge.
