MicroTek Adds 17 Alliance Partner Sites to National Network of Computer Classroom Rental Facilities
Oakbrook Terrace, IL, March 21, 2005 - MicroTek has expanded its reach yet again elevating 17 training facilities to the MicroTek Alliance Partner (MAP) level. The MAP designation is reserved for computer training centers that can offer the same industry-leading level of customer service and technical expertise that is common to MicroTek owned facilities. The new MAP facilities extend MicroTek’s coverage to 14 new cities for a total of 35 metro areas.
MicroTek reached agreements with eight classroom providers to become MicroTek Alliance Partners after several years working with each as affiliates. “We have a long history of successful training events with each of these facilities; long enough to trust them with our good name,” noted Vern Tepe, Vice President of Information Technology and Facility Relations. “We can count on them to satisfy our clients’ needs and offer the Outrageous Customer Service that our clients have come to expect from us.”
This expansion coincides with the recent opening of two new MicroTek owned facilities, and with increased efforts to grow business outside of the U.S. “Because of our experience doing business in hundreds of facilities all over the world, we are able to pick out the cream of the crop,” said CEO Don Slivensky. “Our MAP program allows us to guarantee our respected level of computer classroom delivery in locations where we don’t yet own and manage a training facility.”
Each MAP site is integrated into MicroTek’s exclusive Tracker reservation system. Tracker allows MicroTek to view each MAP site’s schedule and book directly in its classrooms. It also gives a current view of available equipment and allows for paperless operation between the parties. Tracker also benefits the MAP facilities as Gerald Rasmussen, President of Exceed Education noted, “MicroTek's reservation system has given us the ability to work together in a virtually paperless environment. It has allowed us to better manage our own classrooms.”
