MicroTek Opens Computer Classroom Rental Facility In Washington D.C.
Washington D.C., October 15, 1998 – MicroTek announces today the opening of its third classroom rental facility; its first in the nation’s capital. Located in the Business District of Northwest D.C. at 1101 Vermont Avenue NW, the new location becomes MicroTek’s first on the east coast.
“With a facility on each coast, one in Chicago, and our extensive list of partner facilities, we now offer a national outsourcing solution for companies requiring software and computer training. The cost cutting benefits of our business model, and outsourcing in general, is evident by this quick addition to our company,” said CEO Don Slivensky. This facility opens only a year after their last opening in Chicago. The first in San Francisco came four years before that.
The new location follows MicroTek’s plan to open facilities in large metro, downtown locations with convenient transportation options. The facility serves clients Tech Data, EMC, and Blackbaud among others.
