MicroTek Opens Computer Classroom Rental Facility In Chicago
Chicago, IL, August 25, 1997 – After four successful years offering clients a computer classroom outsourcing solution in San Francisco, MicroTek chooses Chicago for its second facility. Located in the Loop at 230 W. Monroe, the downtown facility is set to open on Monday the first of September.
The importance of this location is evident, as the company headquarters moves to Chicago with CEO Don Slivensky along for the ride. “With Bill Taylor as facility manager, we’ve left [our San Francisco facility] in good hands. Moving our headquarters to Chicago is the next step in providing a national outsourcing solution for corporate training,” said Slivensky.
The Chicago location follows the company’s plan to open facilities in large metro, downtown locations with convenient transportation options. It is set to serve local area clients ABN AMRO, the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, among others.
