MicroTek Opens Computer Classroom Rental Facility In Austin
Austin, TX, January 3, 2001 – It appears MicroTek is imitating its 2000 performance by opening a facility to start off the New Year. This time around the stage is in Austin, TX. The new facility, located at 502 East Highland Mall Blvd, is the company’s seventh owned and operated facility in the U.S.
The facility was formerly operated by TRMG Training and MicroTek looks forward to offering a higher level of service at the training center. "We are excited to open our first facility in Texas and we look forward to setting a new standard for classroom delivery here," said CEO Don Slivensky. “This is the second facility we have taken over from TRMG [the first being New York in November 2000] and we expect this one to do just as well.”
The facility is MicroTek’s largest to date at 21,000 square feet. It occupies its own building with 7 computer classrooms and 3 large meeting rooms in a campus environment. Big clients, including Dell, are set to use the oversized location.
