We are located on the LBJ Freeway just east of the Dallas North Tollway. Lincoln Centre is a four-building office complex of all-mirrored glass. We are in Three Lincoln Centre on the third floor. Look for a building with a Hilton hotel logo on the top to find us.
From the North:
- Traveling South on the Tollway, exit Galleria/Alpha (will put you on Inwood Rd.).
- Continue on Inwood Rd., cross IH-635 (LBJ).
- Take a left at IH-635 (LBJ) East onto access road.
- Take a right into the Lincoln Centre complex.
From the South or Love Field:
- When exiting Love Field, turn left at the first light (Mockingbird).
- Within 3 blocks you'll veer right to follow Mockingbird.
- Go a couple miles to the Toll road and turn left onto the Toll road traveling North.
- Exit Harvest Hill Rd.
- Turn right onto Harvest Hill then left into the Lincoln Centre complex.
From the East:
- Traveling West on IH-635 (LBJ), exit Monfort, turn left.
- Cross over IH-635 (LBJ), turn right on Harvest Hill Rd. (first light after 635 cross over), cross Noel Rd.
- Turn right into the Lincoln Centre complex.
From the West or DFW Airport:
- Take the North Exit when exiting DFW.
- Go through Toll booth and go straight till you see a sign for East bound IH-635 (LBJ).
- Stay on IH-635 (LBJ) and then Exit Dallas Parkway/Dallas Tollway.
- At the split, continue following Dallas Parkway signage (DO NOT take Tollway).
- Go up the ramp through 2 stop lights.
- Take a right into the Lincoln Centre complex.
DO NOT PARK IN 2-HOUR VISITOR PARKING
Please park in the West Parking Lot between our building and North Dallas Parkway. Please be sure to park in an unmarked space, not one labeled "2-Hour Visitor". Parking in this lot is free, but please write "MicroTek" on a piece of paper and place it on your dash. This will help security identify your vehicles as belonging to a MicroTek attendee/student.
You can also park at the nearby Hilton for a nominal fee if you desire garage parking.
The two main airports in Dallas are: Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field. We are 15 miles from DFW and 11 miles from Dallas Love Field. Our traffic flow is the same as any big city. Rental cars are great if you’re here to be a tourist, but not recommended for students and instructors. Here are suggestions to help you save time and money.
From either airport…
- Take a cab. Taxis are available outside baggage claim, no reservation required. The fare should be around $30-$40 from Love Field and $40-$50 from DFW. Note: Cabs/private cars qualify for the HOV lane (ultra fast carpool lane on LBJ/635).
- Take a limo at nearly half price! Book a very nice, comfortable, affordable Town Car limousine to our location and numerous surrounding hotels. MicroTek has negotiated rates with Dependable Transportation. Call to reserve and ask for the MicroTek rate -- $55 to/from DFW or $45 to/from Love Field. Additional riders only $5 per person. - Drive yourself. DFW is a brisk 35 minute drive and Love Field is 25 minutes. Try to arrive at the airport at the same time as your associates so you can share a car. Again, this entitles you to use the “HOV” (high-occupancy vehicle) lane which minimizes possible traffic slowdowns.
A cab or private car to and from the airport with a sightseeing/dining trip or two during the week is likely cheaper than a week-long rental car, requires zero pickup/drop-off time, and is door-to-door service for all destinations (no parking, no walking).
Remember, all nearby recommended hotels offer convenient, no charge shuttle service to and from MicroTek. Many of these also provide rides to and from the world famous Galleria Shopping Mall, and restaurants, movie theaters, and the like in the immediate area. If you do need to do some sightseeing, ask the hotel for the best and least expensive way to get there.
