Vern Tepe’s responsibilities center around the management of three primary areas: Information Technology, Facility Partner Relations and Customer Support.
When Vern joined the company in August of 2001, his initial assignments were to create a reliable Facility Network and to work with the Software Development Team in creating a computer management system. He was promoted to Vice President in 2003.
Vern has more than 40 years experience in computer systems as a programmer, manager, consultant, speaker and seminar leader.
As one of the founders of LANDA (Local Area Network Dealers Association), Vern was instrumental in merging LANDA with NOMDA to create BTA – the Business Technology Association.
In 1985, Vern created Universal Networks, a local-area-network support organization. As President of Universal Networks, he directed the growth of the company to where it became one of the premier LAN support organizations in the Chicago area. In 1996, Universal Networks was acquired by IKON. From 1996 through 2001, Vern served as a corporate consultant for several companies, where he assisted them with their growth and development.
Vern Has a BS in Mathematics and an MA in Economics from the University of Cincinnati.
